Mid Hongu Khola 'A' Hydropower Project will generate 130.17 GWh energy annually after outage. The project is located in Eastern Region/Province 1, Solukhumbu district. The Intake site is at Chheskam and Powerhouse Site is at Bun and Gundel of Solukhumbu.

The project area is located between 1055m and 1305m above mean sea level. Geographical Coordinates of the project location are Latitude: 27030' 51" N-270 32' 08" N and Longitude: 86051' 23" E-860 53' 54" E.

The project is of run-off-the-river type. The water from the intake is diverted to the water conveyance system through gravel trap, approach canal and settling basin. Then water is fed into powerhouse through the pressurized pipe to hit the turbine and generate electricity, which is evacuated to national grid through 132 Kv transmission line.
